Planets: Four Variations of Detachment

Ohad Milstein’s documentary follows four narratives of voluntary loneliness which traverse distant, cooler orbits around the warm Israeli sun. A butterfly collector, a man with a bionic hand, a self-sufficient family living in the outer reaches of a desolate forest, and a pet taxidermist. All of these individuals inhabit their own respective spaces and are wholly devoted to their world and nowhere else.
